Rules, responsibilities and dress code for all students at ACS Junior College —
designed to maintain discipline, dignity and a positive learning environment.
Code of Conduct for Students
All students are expected to adhere to the following guidelines at all times.
Attend all classes punctually from the first day to the last day of each term.
A minimum 75% attendance in lectures and practical sessions is mandatory.
Disciplinary action will be taken against students who fail to appear for class tests or internal exams.
Students must always carry their Identity Card (duly signed) within the campus.
Maintain disciplined behavior both inside and outside campus, especially when representing the institute.
Maintain a healthy rapport with classmates, teaching staff, and administrative staff.
Attendance is compulsory on Independence Day (15 Aug) and Republic Day (26 Jan).
Smoking, alcohol, and drug use are strictly prohibited within college premises.
Ragging is strictly prohibited and will lead to severe disciplinary action.
Outsiders are not allowed to loiter on campus. Strict action will be taken against students who bring outsiders.
A Note on Dignity & Image
To maintain the dignity and image of the college, all students must be properly attired at all times — both within the campus and while representing the institution at any external venue. Neat, decent and appropriate clothing reflects the values of IOS Junior College and its students.
