IOS Junior College’s Library is the most lively place in the college that enables learning and advancement of knowledge. It has been methodically developed right from inception and is rich in collection — comprising Textbooks, Reference Books, Journals, Educational Magazines, General Books, and Books for competitive examinations.

The library also subscribes to e-journal packages of E-Granthalaya Library and Information Management Software. The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) enables library users to search the book database by Title, Author and Publication. Library processes are based on the Dewey Decimal Classification System.

🎯 Aims & Objectives

→ Aid in establishing a bridge between the Library, academic fraternity and institute management.
→ Ensure all procedures and policies are followed as per UGC, AICTE, NAAC and other regulatory authority guidelines.
→ Advise on general development and administration of the library by organizing regular meetings.
→ Provide satisfaction to users by achieving the goals of the library.
→ Act as a channel of communication and dialogue between the Library System and its users.
→ Advise and review library policies for instruction, resources, services, and facilities.
→ Discuss and recommend budgetary issues for books, journals, databases, media, and more.
→ Support the functioning of the library and ensure it remains a dynamic learning resource.
